Choose a favorite film, fill a popcorn bowl, and settle in together after the premiere portraits.
Activity steps
- Choose the birthday feature,Hang the movie backdrop at the arrival portrait spot using its included cord, clear of the walking route. Agree on a film the group is comfortable with, check its age rating and actual runtime, and confirm access through a film you own or a service you already use. Test picture, sound and subtitles on your existing screen before guests arrive. Arrange a comfortable seat for each person.
- Set out the popcorn bar,For every six guests, put out one roomy popcorn bowl and two separate mix-in bowls, with a serving spoon in each. Allow 20 g ready-popped popcorn, 7.5 g mini pretzels and 7.5 g chocolate candies per guest. Set out one individual bowl and napkin each. Check dietary needs and keep mix-ins separate.
- Make a comfortable cinema,Lay a runner on a stable snack table and place three flameless pillar lights away from serving space. Check the light bases and manual, and gather the correct batteries for those three pillars and their remote. Use ordinary room lights for walking. Put a shared blanket within reach of each pair of seats, borrowing what is already at home.
- Fill your bowls and press play,Let everyone choose snacks and settle in. Dim an existing lamp if comfortable while leaving the route to the snacks and door easy to see. Allow about twenty minutes to settle in plus the film’s actual runtime; the activity estimate uses a ninety-minute film. Pause for a comfort break if needed.
Use your existing screen, film access, seats and blankets. Confirm the actual runtime and age rating. Tableware and lights can be borrowed; match any batteries to the exact lights and keep battery compartments secured.
