Make one unscented soy container candle using a matched wax, wick and vessel kit.

Activity steps
Prepare the tested combination
Use the kit supplier’s matched container, wax and wick, including its exact wax amount and temperature instructions. Make one test candle beforehand. Keep the workshop unscented and free of added flowers, glitter or other decorations.
Set the controlled hot station
One experienced adult manages each station for up to six guests. Fix each wick with the supplied adhesive and centre it. Weigh wax with a gram scale; melt it in dedicated equipment using the supplier’s method and a thermometer. Keep water out of wax and leave no hot equipment unattended.
Pour in small batches
At the specified pouring temperature, the instructor fills containers to the supplier’s recommended level on a heatproof mat. Keep guests clear of the hot station and leave wick supports in place while candles cool undisturbed.
Cure and label
Do not move liquid or warm wax. Arrange later collection once fully set, then cure for the wax supplier’s stated period before burning. Label each candle with that date, trimming instructions and safe-use guidance. Never pour wax down a drain.
Host tip: The 90-minute session excludes cooling, curing and test burns. Use a tested kit recipe, not a guessed wax-to-wick combination.
Adults only. An experienced instructor controls heating and pouring. Use a stable ventilated work area, no open flame, and dedicated heat-resistant tools.
