  1. Plan the pattern

    Start with a smooth, clean wooden box. Cut or tear thin paper into a simple layout. Keep hinges, lid edges and the closing seam free so the box can still open.

  2. Attach small sections

  3. Apply a finish

  4. Allow full curing
