Movie premiere photos
Make a personal premiere card, choose a playful pose, and take a relaxed portrait before the birthday feature.

Activity steps
- Make a clear arrival spot,Hang the movie backdrop at the arrival portrait spot using its included cord, clear of the walking route. Check that the floor and route past the camera are clear; no carpet or raised stage is needed. Use an existing phone camera and normal lighting. Offer both seated and standing portraits.
- Create a premiere card,Give each guest one sheet of colored cardstock and share a marker assortment among six. Write a chosen screen name, a fictional film title or a one-line birthday message. Keep the card handheld, so nothing needs taping to the wall or clothing.
- Take a portrait by invitation,Ask each person whether they would like a photo alone, with friends, or not at all. A willing guest or the host takes a small number of photos. Try a movie-poster pose or a group wave, and make time for retakes without ranking anyone’s look.
- Introduce the birthday feature,Keep the cards as place markers near seats and invite volunteers to read their fictional movie title. Agree privately on who may receive photos and whether any may be shared. Put the phone away as the popcorn and film begin.
Ask about photos before the party and again on the day. Dress-up is an invitation to use clothes already owned, not a required costume purchase.
