Draw a pizza menu
Invent a tiny pizzeria, draw its pizza menu and make an order card before the cooking begins.

Activity steps
- Open a paper pizzeria,Cover each table of six with one red-checkered cover. Clean and reset it between paper menus and pizza preparation; keep plastic away from hot trays. Cover the table and give each guest one cardstock sheet and one blank order card. Share pencils between two and markers among six. Show the actual pizza ingredients chosen by the host so the pretend menu matches the food being served.
- Name the special,Invent a restaurant name and draw one pizza using the available toppings. Add a friendly name for the pizza and a small restaurant logo. Use pictures instead of writing if preferred; no one needs to invent prices.
- Write a clear order card,On the blank card, write the guest’s name and chosen toppings, or draw them with a helper. An adult checks the order against the dietary plan. Put the cards in a clean, dry place away from food; they help the adult track orders but never go on a baking sheet.
- Reset the table for food,Show the menus, then put all markers, pencils and paper away. Clear scraps and clean the table cover before washing hands and starting the pizza activity.
Keep ingredient choices short and visible. The order cards are reminders for the adult cook, not a substitute for checking allergies and keeping utensils separate.
